What the authority reported

This recall involves BRS portable liquid fuel bottles sold individually. The BRS bottle is orange with a black cap and was sold in 530mL, 750mL and 1000mL sizes. "BRS" the bottle's volume, warnings, and/or directions appear in white lettering on the bottles. Hazards: The portable fuel bottles do not meet the child-resistant requirements for closures under the Children's Gasoline Burn Prevention Act (CGBPA). The closure for the products is not child-resistant, posing a risk of burn and poisoning to children.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
