What the authority reported

This recall involves Newmemo's children's ring sets. The recalled sets were sold in a pack of 36 rings in multiple designs, packaged inside a pink heart-shaped display case. "Newmemo" and "Amazon FNSKU X0034COQMP" are written on a white label attached to the underside of the case. Hazards: The rings contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban and levels of cadmium that are prohibited in children's products by the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. Lead and cadmium are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
