What the authority reported
This recall involves the Takibi propane inserts and lava rocks, fireplace accessories that allows Snow Peak's Pack & Carry Fireplace L (ST-032) and XL (ST-034) to operate on propane fuel instead of wood or charcoal. The propane insert includes a detachable hose with a gas flow regulator that controls the intensity of the flame with the twist of a knob. The product also includes lava rocks. Model number ST-332-US can be found on the product packaging and in the user manual. Hazards: The fireplace's lava rocks can ignite and explode when heated in the propane insert, posing a risk of serious injury or death from burn and fire hazards.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
