What the authority reported

This recall involves the Avengers Infinity Gauntlet medal. The medal is gold, with colorful gems on the front and comes in a black package marked "Marvel Avengers" with Marvel Avengers artwork. The medals are part of the Avengers virtual challenge series. To receive the medal, customers must have completed the Infinity Gauntlet virtual challenge on the Conqueror App. Hazards: The recalled medals violate the mandatory safety standard for magnets because the high-powered magnets may detach, posing a deadly ingestion hazard to children. When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract each other or other metal objects and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death.
