W badaniach Państwowej Inspekcji Sanitarnej stwierdzono przekroczenie dopuszczalnego poziomu alkaloidów pirolizydynowych w przedmiotowym produkcie. Na podstawie oceny ryzyka Narodowego Instytutu Zdrowia Publicznego PZH – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego uznano, że spożycie produktu zanieczyszczonego alkaloidami pirolizydynowymi na wykrytym poziomie może stanowić ryzyko dla zdrowia konsumentów.
