W wyniku badań Państwowej Inspekcji Sanitarnej stwierdzono przekroczenie dopuszczalnego poziomu alkaloidów pirolizydynowych w określonych poniżej partiach pyłku kwiatowego. Zgodnie z oceną ryzyka ekspertów Narodowego Instytutu Zdrowia Publicznego PZH – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego spożycie produktu zanieczyszczonego alkaloidami pirolizydynowymi na poziomie wykrytym w badaniu urzędowym może stanowić zagrożenie dla zdrowia konsumentów.
