What the authority reported
It was discovered that some reusable sensor cables contain manufacturing defects which can result in the "check sensor" or "replace sensor" error messages which result in a non-functioning channel that cannot obtain a regional oxygen saturation (rSo2) reading when using an affected cable. Recall start date: May 3, 2024
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
