What the authority reported
This recall is for brake chambers installed on certain transit buses or sold as a replacement part. On certain transit buses, the brake chamber(s) on the rear axle may be defective. As a result, air could leak from the chamber and cause the parking brake to apply suddenly while driving without the brake lights turning on. If this happens, the brakes could overheat.
