What the authority reported

Under certain conditions, the tire(s) could wear irregularly. As a result, the belts could become damaged over time, and the tread could separate. If this happens, the tire could fail. Note: This recall affects the following motorcycle tires: - Metzeler Tourance Next 150/70R18 70V with the date codes 4816 to 2424. - Metzeler Tourance Next II 150/70R18 70V with the date codes 3521 to 2624. - Metzeler Tourance Next II 150/70ZR18 70W with the date codes 3522 to 3524. - Pirelli Scorpion Trail II 150/70R18 70V with the date codes 0117 to 4024.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
