What the authority reported

On certain trucks, the bolts for the steering arm and/or tie rods may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the bolts could loosen and separate. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Note: This recall only affects certain trucks equipped with 20k steer axles.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
