What the authority reported
On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the adaptive cruise control (ACC) not to work properly. As a result, when the ACC is activated, the vehicle may not slow down or stop if the system detects the need to apply the brakes. Note: This recall only affects certain all-wheel drive models that are not equipped with the Super Cruise feature.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
