What the authority reported

It was determined that the haemostatic forceps have been used in ways not covered by the design (e.g. clamping larger blood vessels or fixation of medical materials). The haemostatic forceps are designed to be used for the occlusion of small blood vessels due to the design and limits of the jaw opening. Recall start date: January 29, 2025

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
