What the authority reported

On certain motorcycles, a software problem could cause damage to the throttle position sensor. This could lead to an unstable idle, engine hesitation or the engine could stall. Note: This recall replaces recall M23-008 (Transport Canada recall no. 2023-339). Vehicles that received a software update under that recall also require this repair.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
