What the authority reported
On certain snowmobiles, the engine control module bracket may have been broken during production. As a result, the broken bracket could fall in the engine compartment and cause the throttle to become stuck. Note: This recall only affects certain snowmobiles equipped with 600R E-TEC, 850 E-TEC or 850 E-TEC Turbo R engines.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
