What the authority reported
These candles can spontaneously relight after being blown out. They are prohibited in Canada under the Candles Regulations of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act because they can re-ignite after disposal, posing a fire hazard. As of February 25, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
