What the authority reported

The recalled high chairs pose a fatal suffocation risk because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep, and they have an incline angle greater than 7 degrees. In addition, the high chair poses entrapment and fall hazards because the opening between the seat and tray is large enough that a child can fall through the opening or become entrapped in it. Health Canada reminds parents and caregivers that the safest place for a baby to sleep is on their back on a firm, flat surface intended for sleep. For more information on safe sleeping practices for infants, see Health Canada's Consumer Information - Creating a safe sleep environment for your baby . As of March 13, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
