What the authority reported

Problem: On a small number of RV trailers, the wrong tires may have been installed. As a result, the tire(s) could become damaged by contact with the body of the trailer. If this happens, the tire(s) could fail. Safety Risk: A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: None of the affected trailers have been delivered to customers. Forest River will instruct the dealer to replace the tires and the compliance label before the trailers are delivered.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
