What the authority reported
On certain vehicles, water could leak into the connector between the engine bay wiring harness and the front bumper wiring harness. If this happens, there could be a loss of power steering and/or certain driver assistance systems may not work properly, including the pedestrian warning system and parking assistance system. Note: This problem could cause the vehicle not to start, the parking brake not to release and/or different warnings to display.
