What the authority reported
The grease inside the coaster brake hub assembly on the affected models does not provide adequate lubrication for the hub's internal sliding surfaces. This can cause accelerated wear and internal damage, which may prevent the brake from working. The rider could lose control of the bicycle, posing risk of a fall hazard. As of November 10 th , 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or in the United States.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
