What the authority reported

On one vehicle, the recall repairs completed by a Jaguar dealer during recall H441 (Transport Canada recall no. 2023-302) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery could create smoke or heat, which can melt or damage the battery and nearby parts.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
