What the authority reported
On certain vehicles, the sidewall of the tire(s) may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the sidewall could fail and cause a sudden loss of air pressure. Note: This recall only affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles equipped with General Grabber HTS LT225/75R16E or Bridgestone V-Steel RIB R265 LT245/75R16E tires.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
