Las investigaciones de Volvo Cars han identificado una posible falla de software en el módulo de control de frenos lo que puede provocar la pérdida del sistema antibloqueo de frenos (ABS), el Control electrónico de estabilidad (ESC) y el control de tracción. Puede producirse una reducción de las funciones de asistencia de frenado, lo que aumenta el riesgo de accidente.
