En algunos vehículos, el aviso acústico del cinturón de seguridad del pasajero del acompañante no funciona. Esta condición es causada por una configuración incorrecta de módulo de control de carrocería (BCM). Es posible que el sonido de advertencia del cinturón de seguridad del pasajero no funcione, provocando el olvido de cinturón de seguridad del acompañante, que puede generar en un evento de colisión o frenado de urgencia riesgo de lesiones al ocupante.
