En los vehículos afectados existe la posibilidad de funcionamiento incorrecto de la alineación de luces de cruce de los faros, debido a un error de software BEMP (Caja Electrónica Control de Proyectores. En el caso de que el vehículo estuviera cargado, podría ocurrir un encandilamiento a otros vehículos que circulan por la carretera, lo que aumenta el riesgo de accidente.
