Como resultado, el motor de combustión interna no arranca cuando es necesario, lo que resulta en una reducción o pérdida del rendimiento del vehículo. Una reducción o pérdida del rendimiento del vehículo durante la conducción podría aumentar el riesgo de un accidente que cause lesiones o la muerte a los ocupantes del vehículo y/u otros usuarios de la vía.
