El sistema de frenos integrados (IB) puede funcionar mal y provocar la pérdida de la asistencia de frenado o hacer que los sistemas de frenos antibloqueo (ABS) y control dinámico de estabilidad (DSC) no funcionen correctamente. La pérdida de la asistencia al frenado puede aumentar la distancia necesaria para detener el vehículo. Además, el mal funcionamiento de los sistemas ABS y/o DSC puede provocar la pérdida de control del vehículo. Cualquiera de estos escenarios puede aumentar el riesgo de colisión.
