Se ha identificado la posibilidad de un fallo en el funcionamiento del software del módulo de control del sistema de frenos ABS, que podría inutilizar el sistema de Control Electrónico de Estabilidad (ESC). La falla del sistema ESC en determinadas condiciones de conducción puede generar situaciones peligrosas que incrementan significativamente el riesgo de accidentes. Estas fallas pueden derivar en daños materiales considerables, lesiones físicas graves e incluso fatales, afectando tanto a los ocupantes del vehículo como a terceros involucrados.
