Los camiones equipados con unidades de control electrónico (ECU) avanzadas Bendix EC80, las cuales pueden verse afectadas por interferencias eléctricas o señales débiles en la línea de transmisión. Este problema podría provocar que la ECU procese los comandos de manera incorrecta o incluso deje de funcionar. Los sistemas de seguridad que dependen de la ECU (Control Automático de Tracción, ABS, Control Electrónico de Estabilidad, Control de Crucero Activo y Sistema de Mitigación de Colisiones) pueden tener una funcionalidad disminuida o perdida, aumentando el riesgo de choque.
