Debido a un problema de software en la unidad de control del motor, los inyectores de combustible pueden desactivarse al salir del modo de marcha por inercia. Si esto ocurre, el vehículo puede sufrir una pérdida repentina de potencia motriz. Una pérdida repentina de la fuerza motriz durante la conducción podría aumentar el riesgo de accidente, causando lesiones o la muerte a los ocupantes del vehículo y/o a otros usuarios de la vía.
