What the authority reported
In certain products, incidents of ignition occurred in Japan. As a result of an investigation by the business operator, it was found that some products shipped within Japan, in which the battery cell manufacturing was outsourced to a supplier, may have contained foreign matter during specific periods in the supplier’s production process, and that internal short circuits in the battery cells could occur during use.
