What the authority reported

A bicycle’s driving part functions by stepping the pedals, letting the chainring on the crank spin thereby making the rear wheel roll. A crank arm indicates a part that connects pedals and a crankshaft. A crank arm is manufactured by joining multiple layers, and if the joining area of the crank arm has any gap or misalignment as a result of separation of the multiple layers, a biker could fall from the bicycle. ◇ A biker could experience injuries such as bruise or fracture, etc.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
