What the authority reported

Although there is no product defect on which the left flame is (-) and the right flame is (+), the brand name engraving on the cap of the 'Bulmoa' product in the KBJ-JA model is displayed in reverse, indicating the small flame as (+) and the large one as (-), causing confusion and potential hazard. Adjustable lighters should have directions indicating where to produce high or low flames on the product. There is a risk of burns from erroneously perceiving the flame size in reverse.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
