What the authority reported
The product presents a risk of injuries because the polycarbonate portion of the hybrid visor may in some cases develop micro fissures around the screw holes that connect the polycarbonate portion to the cage portion. This could potentially lead to cracking if it were subject to a powerful impact, such as a hockey puck travelling at high velocity. The product does not meet the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment.
