What the authority reported
The plastic surrounding the battery compartment can splinter and crack after a drop or during play and expose the batteries. The batteries may be placed in the mouth and swallowed, presenting a choking hazard for young children and causing damage to the gastrointestinal tract. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
