What the authority reported
If a product with an internal electrical short is plugged into this charge station the charge station could overheat to an unsafe temperature. The heat is high enough to melt the nearby ABS plastic of the GDX-CRG housing, presenting a risk of burns. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
