What the authority reported
The product presents a serious risk of asphyxiation as an infant could get their head stuck in the netted hoop supplied. If a child is left in the playpen unattended, they may gain access to the hoop and become trapped, restricting air flow and leading to asphyxiation. Improvements are also required to product labelling, marking and instructions. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
