What the authority reported
The product presents a high risk of injuries as the steering column locking device can fail. This could result in the handlebars unexpectedly dropping during use, causing the user to fall. Additionally, the diameter of the front wheels was identified as being is below the specified minimum of 120mm and therefore the scooter poses a potential ejection hazard if hitting an object. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
