What the authority reported

The dummy clip presents a serious risk of injury as it exceeds the maximum permitted length and does not meet the minimum required thickness for such products. If the cord becomes wrapped around a child’s neck, especially when unsupervised, it could lead to strangulation or choking. The reduced diameter increases the likelihood of the cord breaking, creating additional choking hazards from small parts. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
