What the authority reported

The product presents a serious chemical risk as it contains an excess concentration of phthalates. One type of hockey stick is smaller and therefore more likely to be used by children. Phthalates may harm the health of children, possibly causing damage to the reproductive system. The product does not meet the requirements of The REACH Enforcement Regulations 2008 or the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
