What the authority reported
The product presents a high risk of strangulation because the attached cord creates a loop that is long enough to wrap around the infant’s neck. If a guardian has stepped away from the infant/ does not notice this and the cord becomes too tight around the infant’s neck, they are at risk of asphyxiating. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
