What the authority reported

The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the transformer is poorly built and does not meet minimum creepage and clearance distances. The plug face also does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and therefore may not make a secure connection with the plug socket. If a consumer touches a live part while the product is in use, it may cause an electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
