What the authority reported
The product presents a high risk of fire as there is insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits of the plug. In the event of a surge in current or electrical fault, the plug could catch fire and explode. Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
