What the authority reported

The product presents a serious risk of drowning as the mouthpiece is held in position with a plastic tie wrap. This connection is not considered secure and may lead to the mouthpiece becoming disconnected from the main respirator, and the user drowning. Improvements are also required to product labelling, marking and documentation. The product does not meet the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on Personal Protective Equipment.

What to do

Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
