What the authority reported

The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the insulation may break down during normal use. If the user touches the metal part of the casing while the item is switched on and the insulation has failed, they may receive an electric shock. The transformer is of poor build quality and fails to meet the minimum required creepage and clearance distances. Improvements are required to documentations and markings. The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
