What the authority reported
The fuel rail protector may have been incorrectly assembled, which could cause its mounting bracket to fracture under certain driving conditions. In the event of a frontal collision, the fuel rail could break and leak fuel into the engine compartment, increasing the risk of fire.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
