What the authority reported
The AdBlue dosing module may not have been initialised correctly during the production of some NV400 (X62) vehicles. In that case, the AdBlue dosing module would not trigger the injection of AdBlue which would result in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions above the regulatory limits.
What to do
Follow the instructions in the official notice — recall remedies (refund, repair, replacement, or disposal) are defined by the issuing authority and the responsible business, and they differ per recall. Do not rely on summaries, including this one.
