What the authority reported
If the tube connecting the water tank to the iron's soleplate were to break, the electrical insulation between the live parts of the appliance and the parts accessible to the user could be compromised. The user may receive an electric shock. Moreover, the appliance is not equipped with an iron rest, which may pose a fire hazard if the iron is left unattended on a flammable or unsuitable surface. This product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
