What the authority reported

The product has not been authorised for sale to the general public. The product has an excessive concentration of brodifacoum (measured value: 0.05 g/kg by weight). Brodifacoum can cause inhibition of blood clotting, damage to blood vessels leading to internal bleeding and organ damage in case of ingestion. Moreover, the packaging does not have the required safety label, with other ingredient and risk-related indications in the national language. The user therefore lacks the necessary information on the dangers if the product comes into contact with the skin or if it is ingested. The product does not comply with the Biocidal Products Regulation nor with the Regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).
