What the authority reported

The connecting rods for the front upper ball joints do not have the required material hardness due to insufficient induction hardening in the manufacturing process and may break. As a result, the steering could be impaired, and fragments could fall onto the road. This increases the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
