What the authority reported

A fault in the hydraulic control unit of the ABS system may cause an incorrect pressure reading. This could inadvertently activate the brake warning light, deactivate the ABS and ESP, and allow the vehicle to start and shift out of Park without the brake pedal being depressed, increasing the risk of unintended vehicle movement, accidents and injury. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
